WHERE WE FIND THEM
Around Orange Beach, Tilefish are found in deep Gulf waters over muddy bottoms, natural ledges, and underwater canyons hundreds of feet below the surface.
HOW WE CATCH THEM
We use a variety of techniques depending on conditions, but these are our go-to methods:
- Deep dropping with electric or conventional reels
- Squid and natural bait presentations
- Fishing deep natural ledges and soft-bottom habitat
- Heavy tackle designed for extreme depths
