WHERE WE FIND THEM
Bluefin Tuna roam the open waters of the Gulf, often following schools of baitfish far offshore. They spend much of their time in deep, blue water and can appear anywhere from the surface to hundreds of feet below.
HOW WE CATCH THEM
We use a variety of techniques depending on conditions, but these are our go-to methods:
- Slow trolling live bait
- Trolling large artificial lures
- Casting to feeding fish when conditions allow
- Heavy conventional tackle built for long fights
